Michael - big brother to be

Michael is going to have a baby brother! Amada is 5 months along with a due date of July 4th. In light of our country's holiday, I tried to convince Amada that we should name our second child Amerigo, but she gave me one of those "not a chance" looks.

So we came to agreement on another name, and thought we'd let Michael announce it.

Pillow fight! Michael lost.



Mardi Gras day. Michael brought a pair of beads for each of his classmates. All of the kids gave him hugs when I announced that he was giving them beads. It was adorable.



Michael turns 2!











Doesn't he look so much more grown up now than he did two months earlier when he first got this guitar?

Here's the final product:



He is super obsessed with reading books all of a sudden. It seems almost every chance he gets, he grabs 5-10 books and settles down in one spot and reads them all, cover to cover. Here, he's enjoying being read to in his tent.
